Wabi-Sabi is a Japanese cultural viewpoint and aesthetic concept that embraces the beauty in "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete” objects. Because the nature of ceramics is somewhat inconsistent, each item made by hand on the wheel has Wabi-Sabi like characteristics. The brush stoke splatter glaze on these snack/tea bowls was a deliberate approach on carrying out the imperfect yet beautiful differences in each piece, making each little bowl inherently unique. Made of red stoneware, these bowls are quite versatile, making them perfect for enjoying small bites, organizing spices while you cook, or drinking your morning tea!
Set of 2
Food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe (although hand washing is suggested to extend the life of your tumbler). Not suitable for use in oven.
*Due to the hand-thrown nature of ceramics, no two items are exactly alike. The unique piece you receive may differ slightly from the pieces that are pictured. Variations in glaze color, size, and finish are to be expected, but don’t worry, this adds to the charm! The piece(s) you order will be specially made for YOU!*
