THE STUDIO

Nestled in a quiet industrial area of the South Bronx within a former paper-clip factory, Hello Homebody Studios offers a spectacular view overlooking Manhattan's East Side and Harlem River. The building fosters a vibrant community of ceramicists, photographers, painters, furniture makers, and other artists alike. 

What To Expect

In this 2 hour class, you will learn the basic fundamentals of pottery. Starting at the very beginning with learning how to center the clay on the wheel, to experimenting with different tools and techniques to achieve your desired shapes. Once we reach the end of the class, you will choose one piece that you want to keep and cherish forever! You will then choose your favorite glaze for that piece, and in the following weeks it will be trimmed, fired, glazed, and ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks (or shipped directly to your home for an additional cost).

After booking, you will receive a confirmation email with additional information on everything you will need to come prepared for your class!
